Turquoise Winter at Creatalicious Challenges

---Note---- Oopsie! Looks like I was so excited to share this with you that I posted it a day early! The challenge starts tomorrow. Hides face in shame.

Hi all! I am happy to have some new followers on board with me! I am pleased to announce that I have been asked to join the design team at Creatalicious Challenges.  Our challenges are monthly so you have plenty of time to join in! The theme this month is turquoise winter.  Yay, my favorite color!!!This challenged is sponsored by Paty Greif Digital Stamps and the prize will be a --------  coupon off any purchase at her store!

Here is my DT card:

I got to use this adorable image from Paty Greif Digital Designs. I colored her with my promarkers.  All the papers are from my stash.  I added liquid applique to her hat and dress.  I am almost out of it. Must buy more! I added glossy accents to her ice skate blades to make them seem more real.  I used a new die from memory box for the mittens.  I love this new die.  I added some stickles to the die cut.  Next time I will cut on glittered card stock instead, I think.  I used oval and scalloped oval dies on the image.  The sentiment was punched with stampin up oval and scalloped oval punches. Some blue pearls were added for bling! Card layout was inspired by the sketch at House that Stamps Built.

  19. Whooee, your following is growing & I can easily see why. And good for you on being on another DT. How you have time, amazes me, and still get all these luscious cards blogged. This one is delightful. Love the MB mittens (need to use mine!) and it's just perfect with this pretty skater. Great papers & I like this layout a lot. The SnS product I mentioned for the snow look, is the best I've tried for that effect so far and I've tried lots. It's easy to appy, and looks very realistic when it dries. TFS & your support in helping me reach my recent goal. Enjoy all your visits & comments. Have a wonderful wkend. Hugs (oh yes, I've made the same too early posting! )
