It's here! Time to launch a brand new challenge blog!! I am so excited to be posting my first DT for Crafting From The Heart challenge blog!  Thank you so much to Erin and Fiona for allowing me to be a part of the team! We have a lovely group of ladies working on providing some inspiration for you for each challenge.  Our theme this week is Anything Goes.  How simple is that? We would love to have you check out our blog and play along with us.  Our sponsors for this challenge are
Angies digi stamps 3 images of winners choice
Sassy Studio 4 images of winners choice
Stamping Boutique 3 images of winners choice

Here is my DT card:

I was lucky to get to work with this adorable snowman image from The Stamping Boutique. I just love snowmen! I used papers form my stash.  The image was colored with my promarkers and a few spectrum noir. I used my snow writer on the snow ans snowflakes.  A die cut snowflake was added in the corner. Blue pearls were added along  the bottom. I used my gel glitter pen on on the snowmen hats.  I glued a red pom pom onto one of the hats.  I think it looks adorable.  Although I remember hating the pom poms on the hats as a child!  The sentiment is using my stampin up scalloped oval and oval punches.

Please head over to the challenge blog and link up your projects! Let's make out first challenge amazing!

Grateful Pilgrim Sock Monkey - C4E DT

It's time for a new challenge at Challenges for Everybody. As always Anything Goes.  Simple, right? Our sponsor this week is the always generous Bugaboo Stamps. They sure do have some cuties over there.

Here is my DT card:

I was excited to work with this Sock Monkey Thanksgiving  image this week.  How adorable is he? I colored him with promarkers.  I used papers from my stash.  I used a nestibility die to cut and mat the image. I added some die cut corners.  A bit off black stickle was used on the hat.  The sentiment is from a set from My Creative Time. I love their products!! I used some walnut stain from Tim Holtz around the edges.  I tired my hand at embossing some little leaves to add around the image.  It was my first time doing it.  They look more like blobs of glitter than leaves to me! I must not be doing something right.  Some topaz gemstones were added in the upper right corner.  Inspired by the sketch at Love to Create .

I had lots of fun making this Thanksgiving card.  We would love to have you link up your creations with us today.  Head on over to the challenge blog to link up and see more inspiring creations from my DT teamies!

Hugs,

Erin

Glitter n Sparkle Add Snow DT

Hello there!! It's time for another challenge at Glitter n Sparkle.  The challenge this week is Show Us Some Snow. How easy is that? Aren't we all working on our Christmas cards anyway? I know I am.  I should have started them at the beginning of the year to get them all made by now so it would be less stressful! Anyway, our sponsors for this challenge are

Inky Impressions who are offering a $10 gift certificate

Sassy Studios who are offering 4 images from their store

Crafty Sentiments who are offering 3 images from their store

Here is my DT card:

For this challenge I was lucky enough to work with Snowman Gift from Crafty Sentiments Design.  How adorable is this image? I colored him with my promarkers.  Papers, ribbon and gems were all used from my stash.  I used my gel glitter pen to make the snow on the bottom sparkle.  I used my snow writer on the snowballs to give them a bit more dimension.  The sentiment is a matching ticket set from My Creative Time. I love this set almost as much as my new tag set.  I know, I am obsessed with dies! I used the sketch at Seems a little Sketchy for the card layout. I really like how this card works out with the not so traditional colors.

We would love to have you enter our Snow challenge with us.  So head on over to the blog for more DT inspiration and to link up your own projects.  Hope to see you there.

Hugs,

Erin

Hello there! It's time for another challenge at Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge.  This week our theme is buttons.  Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish. We would love to see your button filled creations so come play with us today!

My DT card:

I was able to work with this cute bird card from Robyn's fetish. I cut the stamped image with one of my nestibility dies. I colored it with my promarkers.  I decided to do a fall/thanksgiving card with this image for a little something different.  Did it work?  I used papers form my stash.  I added some green buttons in the left corners and an acorn felt sticker in the upper right.  I used my new tag dies from My Creative Time along with a matching sentiment.  I used some brown embossing powder to try and mimic some frantage that I am seeing people do with their cards.  I love the frantage look. I really need to order some!

Head on over to the challenge blog for more inspiration and to link up with us!

Happy Friday everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Savvy Handmade Cards.  Our theme this week is Give Thanks.  Our sponsor is the always generous Bugaboo Stamps. Who doesn't love their images?

I chose this cute pilgrim girl to make a Thanksgiving card with.  How adorable is she? I colored her with my promarkers.  I used papers from my stash.  I die cut a lacy border and added some coffee colored pearls.  I am using my new My Creative Time matching tag die and stamp set for the sentiment.  I just love them so much.  I have a hard time not using them on every card now! I added a sparkly bow to the upper corner and a pumpkin die cut was added to the lower corner. I used the sketch at for the card layout.

OSAAT Challenge 190

Hi my crafty friends! It's time for another challenge at One Stitch at A Time

Theme : Anything Goes

Sponsor : StitchyBear Digi Outlet
Prize : All the digi images that the DT  used in challenge # 188

Here is my DT project:

This week I got to work with this newspaper man image by Pookie.  I thought this image would be great for a steampunk Sherlock Holmes bookmark to use as part of a Christmas gift! I colored the image with my Promarkers and just use the top part to add on the bookmark.  I used some new Graphic 45 steampunk paper that I am in love with.  I added a Tim Holtz metal gear. I printed the image twice and cut out the newspaper, attached a foam dot then placed it on the bookmark for some dimenson. I drew the speech bubble and added the "sentiment." That makes it so much easier to see where I was going with this creation.  Ribbon was added at the top.  I am really pleased with the end product!

Since this weeks theme is Anything Goes I expect to see you there.  Head on over for more inspiration from my amazing DT mates!

It's time for a new challenge at Glitter and Sparkle.

Theme is Tag me - Make or add a tag

Sponsors are

Bugaboo who are offering 7 images of the winners choice from their store

Floppy Latte who are offering  a $6 Gift Certificate for their store .

A $10 gift certificate to be spent on images from Beary Dust, Alipeeps art and stitchy at Stitchy Bear Store

Here is my DT card:

I was lucky enough to work with this adorable image Dede Christmas Tree from Bugaboo Stamps.  I colored her with my promarkers.  The papers are from my stash.  I added some pearls that I also colored with promarkers to match the card.  Such a great way to save a bit of money.  Just buy white and color yourself.  I used some red glitter embossing powder on the bows for her dress and hair.   I used my first ever handmade bow on this card.  I think it looks pretty decent! I recently got a set of cute tag dies with matching sentiments from My Creative Time. I love these dies! Can't wait to use them again.  I followed the sketch at Sketch N stash for the card layout.

I had lots of fun making another Christmas card to mail out this year! If you would like some more tag inspiration head on over to the challenge blog to see what my team mates have created.  Hope to see you there.

Erin

First Vintage Card

Hey everyone! Today I have my first ever handmade vintage card to share with you.  I admit I was a bit nervous because I wasn't sure if I "knew" how to make one but I didn't let them stop me from trying.  I got this elegant image from DAZZLING-ACE-DESIGNS. I love the images that Suzy has to offer! I die cut and matted the image and back paper. I used ribbon and papers from my stash.  The papers were slightly distressed with the Tim Holtz tool and inked with old paper distress stain. I added leaves from a MS punch and a cute flower.  Some stickles were added to the flower for extra glitz.  I am very excited to have used some dies and stamps from My Creative Time that I recently bought.  I am in love with their products and will be getting more.  I die cut and stamped the ticket.  I also added a die cut banner.  I realized after that I should have made the banner a different color as it really blends in with the other paper.  We learn as we go, right? Overall I am very pleased with this card and am looking forward to trying some more vintage themed projects.  I hope you have enjoyed my creation today.

Hugs,

Erin

Snowman Pin Up

Whew, four posts for me this weekend! I sure have been a very busy crafty bee! It's time for a new challenge at Challenges 4 everybody. As always our theme is anything goes.  How easy is that? Our sponsor for this challenge is Sassy Studio Designs who are offering 4 images from their store! They have amazing digital stamps.  So many that I want to add to my own collection.

Here is my DT card:

I was lucky enough to work with this amazing snow man pin up digi. I have been wanting to color her for awhile now and was so excited to finally use her.  I colored her with Promarkers and a few Spectrum Noir.   A gel glitter pen added the sparkle to her hat and dress.  I glued super tiny gems for buttons and on the top of her boots. Thank goodness for my amazing gel picker because those suckers are hard to work with. I used papers from my stash.  I added some twine and a snowflake die cut to make the design on the bottom.  I die cut some leaves to add under the flowers.  The flowers were a recent addition to my stash that I got  from WOC.  I love them.  I only wish I could have ordered more from them.  I bought many different sizes in white so I could color them with promarkers to match my projects.  I added some stickles for extra shine on the finished flowers.  The sentiment was stamped from a Studio G clear stamp sentiment set that I have.  I used the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy for my card layout.

I really hope you have enjoyed my card. We would love to have you link up your projects with our challenge.  Remember it's Anything Goes! If you would like more inspiration check out what my team mates have whipped up for you this week!

I was able to work with this lovely Fall image.  I colored it with my promarkers.  I used papers from my stash.  A piece of my favorite mesh ribbon was added as well as some maple leaves.  I used stickles on the sentiment.  I added two pieces of orange washi tape in the upper left corner.  I know realize that it probably should have been brown tape since the orange blended too well.  We learn as we go, right? Here is my DT card:

This week I got to use Emma the Caroler by Delicious Doodles.   I colored her with my promarkers.  Since the theme is autumn colors I chose to use monochrome with browns. I used paper and ribbon from my stash.  I layered the book so that it pops out a bit.  You can't really see it in this picture but it looks better in person! I used my stampin up oval and scalloped oval punches for the sentiment.  I recently got an irock that I have been looking forward to using to use on the gems.  It is amazing! I made the gem doodle myself! I can't wait to do more designs in the future.

Fall Colors DT Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge

Hello again!  It's time for a new challenge at Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge Blog. Looks like I am a bit late on posting this.  Yikes! Today we are doing a photo/color inspiration.  You must use three colors from the photo on your creation to enter the challenge.  It's not hard! Come and join us with fall colors! The prize for this challenge is some blog candy!

Here is my DT card:

I have used this lovely Saturated Canary image for my card today! Isn't she gorgeous? I colored her with my promarkers.  I am still learning how to blend the colors but I think I am getting better! I used papers from my stash.  More of the awesome mesh ribbon was added under the image.  I love this stuff! I used some liquid pearls around the image.  Maybe hard to see in the photo. Note to self, take up close shots of the images in the future! I added some green gems in the corners and some leaf trim along the bottom. My stampin up scalloped oval and oval punches were used on the sentiment.  I loved working with this image and color theme to make this card! If you would like some more inspiration, head on over to the challenge blog to see what my team mates have created for you this week.  Hope you join us.

Give Thanks - Savvy Handmade Cards DT

It's time for a new challenge at Savvy HandMade Cards.  This week the theme is a photo inspiration.  We would love to see your take on this photo so link up your creations.  Here is my take for a little extra inspiration for you!

I have used an image from Bugaboo Stamps. I just love their images and every Friday they have a new freebie so check them out! They are so easy to work with.  I colored this cute scarecrow with my promarkers.  I used paper from my stash.  Some pumpkin ribbon trim was glued along the bottom.  I love that trim. It's so cute.  I am almost out of it already! The sentiment was cut from cardstock.  A pumpkin foam sticker was added for some extra bling in the corner.  I did some faux stitching on the image.

I hope you like my card and decide to come play with us!

Journal Page Last GDT Fitztown

Hey everyone! This is my last project as a guest designer for the Fitztown challenge blog.  I have enjoyed my time working with the team and wish them the best of luck in the future.  This week I made a journal page with an enchanter image.  He has been colored with promarkers and some new spectrum noir markers that I bought on sale to try!  I fussy cut the image and glued it onto cardstock.  I would love to get a silhouette that I see people using to cut around their images.  That would be so much cleaner. I used some stickles to write the sentiment.  A couple of really cute stickers were added.  I wanted to keep this very CAS so the image was the focus.  And my journal is stuffed full as it is! I hope you enjoy this page.

Winter bird OSAAT DT

Hey there! It's time for a new challenge at One Stitch at A Time. The theme for this week is Use A Digi.  We are sponsored by StitchyBear Digi Outlet with the complete set of images that the DT used in challenge #186 and a runner up prize of $3. Remember in order to win the first prize you must use a digi from the shop. head on over to join us this week with your projects featuring digital stamps!

Here is my DT card:

My team mate chose this bird image for us to use on the challenge this week.  I colored it in with my promarkers.  The papers are from my stash.  I used some distress stain to ink around the image.  I think I am getting better at that as well.  Still a bit heavy handed but I will get there! I got a new snow writer from AC Moore to make the snow spots on the card.  I love this writer.  I want to get some glamour dust to make the snow sparkle for next time.  I added a piece of snowy tree as well for an embellishment.  I saw it in the store and wasn't sure if I could use it on my cards but I think it works ok. I used my stampin up oval and scalloped oval punches for the sentiment. I think this is an adorable winter card!  Now how do I ship this piece?  If you are looking for some more inspiration head on over to the blog and check out the awesome creations my team mates have made for us this week.  Hope to see you there.

Hugs,

Erin
