Hey there! It's time for a new challenge at One Stitch at A Time. The theme for this week is Use A Digi. We are sponsored by StitchyBear Digi Outlet with the complete set of images that the DT used in challenge #186 and a runner up prize of $3. Remember in order to win the first prize you must use a digi from the shop. head on over to join us this week with your projects featuring digital stamps!
Here is my DT card:
My team mate chose this bird image for us to use on the challenge this week. I colored it in with my promarkers. The papers are from my stash. I used some distress stain to ink around the image. I think I am getting better at that as well. Still a bit heavy handed but I will get there! I got a new snow writer from AC Moore to make the snow spots on the card. I love this writer. I want to get some glamour dust to make the snow sparkle for next time. I added a piece of snowy tree as well for an embellishment. I saw it in the store and wasn't sure if I could use it on my cards but I think it works ok. I used my stampin up oval and scalloped oval punches for the sentiment. I think this is an adorable winter card! Now how do I ship this piece? If you are looking for some more inspiration head on over to the blog and check out the awesome creations my team mates have made for us this week. Hope to see you there.
Hugs,
Erin

It's a beautiful image and lovely card, Erin. I do similar things and add bulky items and then remember the postage, ugh! Hazel x

Erin, I look at your card and I "Believe" in the power and beauty of Nature - this is very beautiful. I also believe that all crafter are the same in that we all want to 'just get some ......' and I'm having a chuckle as I've accompanied my sister on many a shopping trip where she just has to get/try some product. I think that you will need to post this beautiful card in a box so that your lovely work does not get flattened or damaged. Love Ingrid xxx
