Save the Hooters

A very sweet woman that I know was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I made this card in hopes to maybe brighten her day a little.  I got this adorable digital image and sentiment at Whimsie Doodles. Isn't it cute? I found the pink designer paper while I was at AC Moore and knew if would be perfect for this card.  I used ribbon and rhinestones from my stash.  I colored in the image with my amazing Promarkers! I followed the sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp for the card layout. I hope that this card is adored by anyone who knows someone or has gone through this themselves! Big hugs and lots of love to all!

My first Christmas tag! Very simply made.  Where was my imagination? Saving it for next time! I love this cute reindeer image from Bugaboo Stamps! I used my vagabond to die cut the tag. The image was colored with Promarkers and glitter was added with a jelly roll glitter pens. I love those pens!

Snow friend like you

I absolutely love this snow globe image from Bugaboo stamps! It was so fun to work with. I gave my first attempt at fancy cutting with this image and don't think I did half bad.  I was having a super allergy attack when I made this card so I am very proud of the results I have without being able to see correctly.  I decided to go very simple with this card so the focus would be on the image.  I colored it in with my promarkers. I used cardstock and blue snowflake adhesive stickers from my stash. I need to work on making better bows with my ribbons.  I have found some new tutorials that I want to follow so expect more and better bows in the future.  Well, I hope so anyway!

Joy

Continuing on with the week long Christmas in July event at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog.  Making all these Christmas cards has really put me in the mood to do some shopping.....for presents of course! I love this cute teddy bear image from Bugaboo Stamps.  Isn't he adorable? I need to get some red flock and do up another card flocking the hat or maybe some brown to make him fuzzy? Now that's a thought.  This card is following the challenge of using chocolate, cream and raspberry colors.  I used chocolate cardstock, raspberry and white dot paper and a string of cream pearls.  Getting those pearls to stay in place was a challenge but I love how elegant they look! I colored in the image with Promarkers and all the papers came from my stash!

Cocoa

Challenge two for the Catch the Bug week long Christmas in July event was a sketch that I used for this card layout.  I used a super cute digi from Bugaboo stamps and colored her in with promarkers.  I used papers from my stash and some gingerbread men embellishments. The stampin up oval and scalloped oval punch was used on the sentiment.

Princess Fairy

How cute is this princess fairy from Bugaboo Stamps? I know a sweet little girl who loves princesses and fairies so I knew this was the perfect image to use on her birthday card.  I incorporated her favorite pinks and purples with paper from my stash. She is colored in with promarkers. I used a jelly roll glitter pen to add some sparkle to her wand, wings, and crown.  The little gems and pearls are so cute. I had to include them. I decided to play with my vagabond a bit and made a flower to put on the side of the card. It was hard to piece in the pink parts of the flowers but I made it work. The card layout is from a sketch by Try Stampin on Tuesday.  Happy birthday Emily!

Show Your Santa

Catch The Bug Challenge Blog is having it's third annual blog hop Christmas in July event starting today. Head on over for some chances to win amazing prizes! Their fist challenge is Show Your Santa. I got this super cute Old World Santa from Bugaboo Stamps to use on the card.  I love their images. Great quality and very reasonable prices.  The owner is having a 50 % off Christmas in July Sale to go along with the event. Stock up on your Christmas images now! I know that I'm going to!   I used white flock on the hat and coat trim.  It was my first time using it.  I love the fuzzy feel it gives to the cards.  I shall be ordering different colors to use more often! I used papers that I got from Hobby Lobby and glitter ribbon from my stash.   The image is colored in with Promarkers.  The sentiment is punched using Stampin up oval and scalloped oval punches.
