Hobby Cutz - Something new challenge

  We have a new challenge starting today at Hobby Cutz Challenge blog.  The theme is Something New - New Year/New Baby/New Stash.

My DT Card:


I got to work with this adorable image "Kia" from Crafty Sentiments.  Their images are just so cute.  I can't wait to add more to my collection.  I colored her with my promarkers.  I had to make this card twice as my boyfriend had spilled ink all over my craft table ruining my completed image.  He should be banned from my crafting area! He is always spilling stuff on my work!   All the papers are from my stash.  The yellow flowers are a new item I picked up.  This is my first time working with the Hobby Cutz laser cuts. I must say, they are AMAZING! They were safely packaged to make the trip from the UK to my home in the USA. So fun and easy to work with.  There are so many different ways to decorate them. I can't wait to try more.  Or you can even leave them as in and they are beautiful just the same.  For this flourish I embossed it with some black embossing powder. I highly recommend heading over to the store and trying the laser cuts on your projects today! The sentiment was punched with my oval and scalloped oval punches.  The card layout was inspired by the sketch at Try Stampin on Tuesday.
