About Me

My photo

Hi everyone! I am a veterinary technician living in NY who loves to pen pal and make cards in my spare time. I have never been good at crafts since I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler but I was determined to give it a go.  I love learning all the different techniques and ways to craft. Follow me on my journey as I grow as a card maker!

My DT card:

I used this awesome image from Lacy Sunshine.  I colored her with promarkers. I used my liquid pearl pen on her head band and around the image. It looks adorable!  All the papers are from my stash. I added some ribbon with a handmade bow.  Under the bow is a heart charm peeking out.  I have a new heart from a ribbon die from memory box that I tried using with this card.  The cuts didn't want to come out of the glitter card stock. Maybe I need to run it through the vagabond twice? I used parts from the die that I could get out without ruining. I seem to be obsessed with buttons lately as they appear on this card too!   The sentiment is a matching stamp and tag die set from my Creative Time.  I love this set.   Card layout inspired by the sketch at Tuesday Morning sketches.

We would love to have you link up  your projects today!

  1. She is very cute Erin love the whole card, you may need to run the die through a few times and you could try using a wax paper between the die and the cardstock which makes it easier to take the cardstock out. You can also use the waxpaper to create resist techniques if you have a few of the dies cuts :)
