Suzy Bee's - Glitter and Sparkle

Time for a new challenge at Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenge Blog. The theme this week was my choice and I thought it would be nice to do Vintage Glitter and Sparkle! Our sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine.

Here is my DT card: 

I got to work with this adorable image from Lacy Sunshine. I colored her with my promarkers.  The papers are from my stash. Stampin Up had a sale and I just had to get some.  How can you pass up sales? I used ribbon along the left side. The ribbon has glitter snowflakes on it that didn't photo well. The trim is also very sparkly. Really need to work on my photography skills.  I added pearls and a resin piece for embellishments.  I used my snow writer to make snowflakes around her.  The sentiment is a die and clear stamp matching set from My Creative Time.  I used dark green paper for the sentiment.  It really photographed black. Yuck.   The card layout was inspired by the sketch at Sketch n Stash.

  For this card I got to work with this adorable Steampunk Vivian image from Sassy Studio Designs.  I colored her with my promarkers.  I couldn't resist adding some silver stickles to her hat and the gun. I used papers from my stash.  I added some purple flowers and a metal compass.  The sentiment was stamped with my oval and scalloped oval punches from stampin up.  Card layout was inspired by the sketch at Love to Scrap.

 I got to work with this cute Plain Jane image from Stamping Chef.  I love their images! I colored her with my promarkers.  I love her blue dress. My fave color! I wanted to make a non traditional color Christmas card.  I think it turned out quite nice.  All the papers are from my stash.  The sentiment is from a clear stamp set from Oriental Trading.  The flower was handmade by a friend!

I got to work with this cute Otis owl! I just love owls and was so thrilled to work with him.  I colored him with promarkers.  I love the color blue I made him.  He is just so darn cute! Ble is my favorite color.  It's so hard to make a card without some blue in it!  I used papers form my stash.  Blue pearls along the edge.  I colored the hat with a glitter gel pen. Another favorite thing of mine! It's my fave way to add glitter to my projects!  Lots of snowflakes on this one! Card layout inspired by the sketch at Sketch N Stash. SSD Sponsoring TIme 4 Scrap

This will be my last post as the December GDT at Sassy Studio Designs.  I am a bit sad that it is over.  I love all their images. I hope to be able to work with the team again in my future! I have truly enjoyed myself. Today SSD is sponsoring the challenge over at Time 4 Scrap. Their theme is Anything Goes!

What a Sassy image I used on this card, yes? I colored her with promarkers.  I used a glitter gel pen on her dress and bow.  Red frosted pearls were added around the image.  All the papers and doily are from my stash.  I used some new dies that I just got from My Creative Time.  The circle and scalloped circle are a set with the circle sentiments.  I used the fun size bow die to make the paper bow.  It isn't quite right yet but I will keep practicing.  Paper folding doesn't seem to come natural to me! I added a heart charm in the sentiment.  The card layout is inspired by the sketch at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge.

SSD Sponsoring Left of Center Challenge Blog

Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring the challenge at Left of Center Challenge Blog this week.  The theme is Christmas.  I have made a little card to share with you all for some challenge inspiration. I know many of us are still scrambling to get our Christmas cards and shopping done! I hate the last minute shopping and prepping I always end up doing.  I need to be more on task!


Here is my GDT creation:

I used this spicy Reindeer Pin Up image for this card.  I colored her with my promarkers.  I used papers from my stash.  Some green gemstones were glued along the bottom.  I added a ribbon charm in the corner.  A red pom pom was used for her tail.  A friend send me some cute sparkly white fluff that I used on her dress and boots.  The sentiment is a matching die and stamp set from My Creative Time.  It's a new to me set.  I am in LOVE.  It comes with these little dies that cut images to fit in the circle for all the holidays of the year.  Such a great buy! Card layout inspired by the sketch at Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

SSD - Sparkle and Shine

I have another card for you as I continue my December GDT at Sassy Studio Designs.  I have really been enjoying myself.  I love their images.  There is a new challenge this week.  The theme is Sparkle and Shine. 

I am using one of the new Christmas images.  How cute is she? I colored her with my promarkers. The papers are form my stash.  I used a chipboard sentiment.  Gemstones and a sparkly present were added for sparkly embellishments.  A handmade bow was used.  Stickles were added to each star on her pjs. Glossy accents were used to make the milk in the glass look more real! Card layout inspired by the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Sassy Studios First GDT

OMG. I am beyond happy right now. I tried out for a GDT at Sassy Studio Designs and got it!!! I love their images.  To have any spot on their team makes my day! Here is my first post as a GDT for them.  The Theme this week is It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas.

I got to work with this super cute Candy Cane image.  How adorable is she? I colored her with my promarkers.  I used papers from my stash.  I added some green mesh ribbon and some  Poinsetta 3D stickers.  I used my snowriter to make it look like she is surrounded by snowflakes.  I found this cute jingle bell sentiment that went perfectly with her.  Card layout inspired by the sketch at Addicted to Stamps.

Here is my first DT card:

This card features this lovely Emo image from Delicious Doodles.  I saw this image and had to create a card for a friend in my life that I knew would love her! I colored her with promarkers.  She was fussy cut and attached to cardstock. I added liquid applique to her hat and dress.  I can't believe it's almost gone already! I used papers from my stash.  The sentiments was stamped from a clear stamp set from Oriental Trading.  I used my irock tool to help heat/glue the gems to make the star.  Boy was that a trick to do! I think it turned out pretty nice! The flowers are from WOC.  I am attempting to learn how to make lovely floral arrangements on my cards.  I love the flowers from WOC.
