OSAAT DT Challenge 186

Hey everyone. Another post for me today! I sure have been busy crafting away. Now only if I had an actual craft room to create in. A girl can dream! I have more exciting news that I can share with you today. I am a new DT for One Stitch At A Time! I am so excited to be working with amazing and talented ladies!  I would like to thank One Stitch At A Time for giving me the chance to be a part of their design team.  I am looking forward to working with all the team!  Head on over to One Stitch At a Time and join us in our current challenge Anything Goes.  Who doesn't love an Anything Goes challenge? We are being sponsored by  StitchyBear Digi Outlet with the complete set of images the DT used in challenge #184. To win the main prize you  MUST use a digi from our store. The runner up using a non Stitchy image will receive $3 to use in the store. This week my team mate Melissa picked Sunflower by Barb  that can be found here.



I colored the image with my promarkers.  I used some brown flock to make the center of the sunflower fuzzy. I tried my hand at inking the edges with some distress stain by Tim Holtz.  It seems I am a bit heavy handed at that yet.  More practice needed.  All the papers were from my stash.  I added some gemstones to the corners.  The sentiment is a freebie from TLC. I hope you enjoy my first card made for the OSAAT team.

    'Autumn may be calling' Erin but your beautiful card has brightened my day completely. I love your colouring of the sunflower image and the flock centre is beautiful. Your backing papers set your image off perfectly as does your sentiment. I'm excited to see further Stitchy Angel creations as time goes on because you've most certainly introduced yourself with a 'wow' card. Love Ingrid xx

    Hi Erin, this is such a beautiful card and I love the sentiment. TLC really have some nice freebies don't they. I have used them myself. Your choice of colours is gorgeous as well and the little gems make such a cute embellishment.
