Fitztown Halloween Blog Hop

Welcome to the Halloween blog hop with Fitztown. If you came from Ema's blog than you are in the right spot but if you started on my page and would like to start from the beginning go to Fitztown blog. The winners will be picked by random org.  All you need to do to win the prize of three digis of the winners choice from the Halloween collection, is be a follower of the Fitztown blog and leave a comment on each blog along the hop! How easy is that?

I must admit that Halloween is not my favorite time of the year.  I hate being scared so I don't go to any haunted events or else I will have nightmares for weeks! I buy candy every year in hopes that some cute little kiddies might stop by but that never happens and I eat all the candy myself! I do enjoy seeing all the decorations that everyone puts up and all the costumes you can wear.

Here is my card for the hop:

I colored him in with my promarkers and used papers from my stash.  I think the crow or is it a raven paper is so cute with this card! If only I could have found a parrot to put on his shoulder.  I added some treasure stickers and put a sword in his hand.  Every pirate needs a sword! I loved the little treasure map and had to include that as well.  A little happy halloween sticker is being used for the sentiment.

If you like the digital stamp you can find it here.

Thanks for stopping by. Your next stop is Judy. Enjoy hopping and remember you mus tcomment on everyone's post in order to be entered for the prize!

Witchy Owl

Hi everyone! I have another owl Halloween for you today! I just love owls! This is another stamp from the Halloween kit that I got from Archivers awhile back. Anytime I see an owl stamp I have to buy it. I might be slightly obsessed, I know.  All the papers came in the kit. I love the bat and spider web paper. I inked the edges with black ink.  I stamped and paper pieced the owl.  Orange stickles are on the hat and the eyes.  The sentiment was stamped from the kit.  I added some purple gems and twine from my stash because I must add bling to my cards.  It doesn't feel finished without it.  I am hoping this dries quickly so I can pop it in the mail today. Who's excited for Halloween tomorrow??

Christmas Boo

Hello everyone! It's time for a new Anything Goes challenge at Challenges 4 EverybodyThis week our sponsor is Lacy Sunshine.  The prize for the winner will be a $20 gift certificate and the runner up will get two free digis.  How awesome is that? I love, love, love the Lacy Sunshine images! They are so much fun to work with.  So head to your craft room and whip up a new card to enter in our challenge for a chance to win!

Here is my DT card for the challenge:

This card features the Christmas Boo image that can be found here. How adorable is she? I had so much fun coloring her with my promarkers.  I chose to simply color her with red and green.  Not very creative, huh? I added some flock to make her hat fuzzy.  I have heard that flower soft also does magical things to the cards so I must get some and make another card with this image! I used papers from my stash. I got this awesome mesh ribbon from ebay. I haven't been able to find it in any of the stores around here but I have been dying to get some.  I knew I had to have it when I saw it! I added a pretty red flower and red gems to the corner for embellishments.  The sentiment is another unlabeled digi I had.  I hope you have enjoyed my little boo! If you would like some more inspiration head on over to check out the creations from my amazing team mates!

Add some black DT

It's time for another challenge at Glitter n Sparkle! This week our theme is add some black.  Pretty simple, right? We have three prizes available this week from our generous sponsors.  Crafty Sentiments who are offering 3 images from their store. Sassy Studios who are offering 4 images from their store. Inky impressions who are offering a $10 Gift Certificate for their store. Thank you to them for being so generous!

Here is my DT card:

I was lucky enough to get this French maid image from Sassy Studio designs. I had lots of fun coloring this image with my promarkers.  I used paper from my stash.  The background paper was won from some blog candy! I love it. I am told it was handmade! I used flowers from my stash and added a pearl in the center.  I punched some leaves out with my MS punch to add with the flowers.  A piece of twine was also added in the back. I used some glitter with my gel pen on the hat, apron and bows for some extra sparkle! I followed the sketch at Bearly-Mine Challenge for the card layout.

I hope you enjoy my newest DT card.  Head over to the challenge blog for some more inspiration from my team mates and link up with your creations  Don't be shy and play with us!

Batty

Happy Friday everyone! Today I have this adorable card to share with you! Savvy Handmade Cards is having a new challenge that starts today. The theme is Gone Batty (use Bats or Birds). The sponsor is Bugaboo stamps. I love working with their images.  I am using the silhouette-pumpkin image that can be found here. Let's see some bats in your creations this week and link up for a chance to win from Bugaboo who is always a generous sponsor.

This card uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy for the card layout. I used papers and orange gems from my stash. I embossed the orange cardstock with a bat folder and chalked the bats with some black.  It was my first time embossing and chalking.  I think I did a nice job.  How about you? The sentiment is unknown to me as I didn't have this one labeled either.  I added a bat button and some gems from my stash.

GD Fitztown Metal Challenge

Good morning everyone! Are you feeling the Christmas spirit already?  Maybe too soon for some? Here is my card featuring a cute snowman that can be found in the Fitztown store!  He was very fun to work with.  This week our current challenge theme is Using Metal.

I attached a cute jingle bell on some glittered cord for my metal.  He was colored in with promarkers and a white gel pen to give the white more dimension.  Rhinestones were added at the top. All the papers were from my stash. I tried to use my new snow marker for the snow man but it exploded into a huge mess.  I guess I need to head over to Youtube for a tutorial on how to use the marker correctly!

Head on over to the challenge blog and play with us.  If you play using one of the Fitztown images you will be entered in a chance to win some free digi's. How awesome is that? And don't forget our weekly freebie that we offer here. See you there!

Hugs,

Erin

OSAAT DT Challenge 186

Hey everyone. Another post for me today! I sure have been busy crafting away. Now only if I had an actual craft room to create in. A girl can dream! I have more exciting news that I can share with you today. I am a new DT for One Stitch At A Time! I am so excited to be working with amazing and talented ladies!  I would like to thank One Stitch At A Time for giving me the chance to be a part of their design team.  I am looking forward to working with all the team!  Head on over to One Stitch At a Time and join us in our current challenge Anything Goes.  Who doesn't love an Anything Goes challenge? We are being sponsored by  StitchyBear Digi Outlet with the complete set of images the DT used in challenge #184. To win the main prize you  MUST use a digi from our store. The runner up using a non Stitchy image will receive $3 to use in the store. This week my team mate Melissa picked Sunflower by Barb  that can be found here.

I colored the image with my promarkers.  I used some brown flock to make the center of the sunflower fuzzy. I tried my hand at inking the edges with some distress stain by Tim Holtz.  It seems I am a bit heavy handed at that yet.  More practice needed.  All the papers were from my stash.  I added some gemstones to the corners.  The sentiment is a freebie from TLC. I hope you enjoy my first card made for the OSAAT team.

Witchy Kitty

Hi everyone. Guess what? I am a new DT member for Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog! How exciting is that? I am just so amazed at all the wonderful creations I have seen everyone making. So much inspiration that I decided to apply to a few DT calls myself.  If you aren't on one and you have been thinking about it, don't be afraid to apply! It is such a great way to learn and grow as a card maker plus you can meet some pretty awesome people.  Ok, enough of me gushing about how awesome I think it is to be on a design team and on to the new challenge.  Our current theme is Halloween. So head on over and join us with your Halloween creations to be entered in the drawing for some cool prizes! Here is my DT card to provide a bit of inspiration ( I hope) for you!

I used the cat on a broom image from Floppy Lattes Digital Designs for this cute Halloween themed card.  I colored the image with my promarkers and inked around the image. Paper and ribbon were used from my stash.  I used a gel glitter pen on the witch hat and on the witching hour part of the sentiment.  Some sparkle was added with the orange gems.  I'm not sure where I got the sentiment from as I was a bit clueless on labeling my digital images as I got them. I followed the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches for the card layout.   I really hope you enjoy my first creation as part of the Glitter n Sparkle design team. Head on over for more inspiration from my team mates!

Hugs,

Erin

Owloween!

Hey everyone! I finally was able to open up the card kit my friend picked up for me at Archievers. It came with a cute set of owl clear stamps with Halloween sentiments, a 6 x6 pad of designer paper, orange stickles, jeweled tape, wiggle eyes and some cardstock.  I have been looking forward to playing with this.  I saw the owl stamps and just had to have it.  I am obsessed with anything owl related! I cut the orange skull paper and fitted it to some black card stock.  This is a mini card measuring 4 by 6 inches.  The smallest card I have worked with yet.  I stamped the owl image on the orange paper first in black ink.   I stamped the same owl image on the mini pumpkin paper and the black chevron paper and fussy cut around each of them.  I then paper pieced them together.  My first time with paper piecing! So much fun. I stamped and fussy cut the boo sentiment that came with the kit.  I used a 1 inch circle punch to make the moon piece.  I added a line of the tape that also came in the kit along the bottom.  I used some orange and purple gems along the bottom from my stash to bling up the card a bit.  There are some orange stickles around the wiggle eyes.  I had so much fun making this card! More owl cards to come from the kit in different variations! I want to exchange some Halloween cards this year so hopefully this card will be enjoyed! I am always up for exchanging of cards. Isn't that so much fun?

Hugs,

Erin

Fitztown GD Metal Challenge

Hello my crafty friends! How are you today? It's time for a new challenge over at The Fitztown Challenge Blog. This week our challenge theme is Using Metal.  So get out those brads, charms, stickers, etc and come play with us.  Remember if you enter using a Fitztown image you will be entered in the drawing to win some free digis.  Who doesn't like free digis? Head over to the store and pick something out!

This week I am using this beautiful image by Morgan Fitzsimons. I really enjoyed coloring her in with my promarkers.  I have been experimenting with blending my colors better and I think it really worked on this image. I went very clean and simple with my card layout. A butterfly was added from my stash.  I used a metal sentiment sticker that wouldn't photograph well no matter what I did.  Very pretty in person.

Head on over to the challenge blog to see more inspiration from the rest of my talented team and enter the challenge! Remember we offer weekly freebies as well.  Go here for more details.  See you there!

I fussy cut Otis and colored him in with my promarkers.  I think I am finally getting the hang of fussy cutting. It still hurts my hands though! Gnome GD Fitztown

Good morning everyone! Today I wanted to show my super cute gnome card made with this image you can find in the Fitztown Store.  How cute is he clutching his little flower? The current challenge is Anything Goes with a twist (New/Old). Join us today for a chance to win free digis from the store if you enter using a Fitztown image!  Easy peasy!!!

I must admit this is my best fussy cut attempt yet! I am very pleased about that! I colored him in using my promarkers.  I used old papers form my stash and new flowers that were sent to me from a friend.  I used my fiskars grass punch along the bottom.  Stampin up oval and scalloped ovals were used on the sentiment.  I was also recently given a cricut to play with so I cut the shovel from the Freshly Picked cartridge set.  I followed the sketch at Seems a little sketchy for the card layout.  I really enjoyed making this card.  Hoping to mail it for a pen pals birthday soon!

Thank you for stopping by! Hope you join us in the current challenge.

Sock Monkey

Happy Sunday crafty friends.  I thought I would share this adorable card I made with you this morning before my allergies overwhelm me and I can't see the computer screen!  I got this happy little sock monkey over at Bugaboo Stamps. They have some amazing stamps on their site so head over and check them out if you are looking for some new stamps at reasonable prices.  And every Friday Bugaboo offers a new freebie! How can you say no to that?

I followed the sketch over at Papertake weekly for the card layout. I colored the monkey with my promarkers. A glitter gel pen was used to make the flower pop a bit more.  All the papers and ribbon are from my stash.  The flower and pearls are new that I picked up somewhere online. I can't remember the exact place now! I used my stampin up scalloped oval and oval punches for the sentiment.  I think this makes for a very pretty fall birthday card! Enjoy your Sunday!
